ABOUT THE CHARACTER




Jessica Hamby was once a homeschooled teenager who was only let out the house for Bible studies and clarinet lessons. Resentful of her upbringing, Jessica snuck out of her house to go to a friend’s party. Vampires grabbed on her on the way there to a vampire tribunal, where Bill Compton stood at trial for murdering another vampire. Instead of the usual sentence of five years in a coffin, Bill Compton was forced to turn Jessica into his vampire progeny to replace the vampire he killed. Much to his dismay Jessica took a great deal of acceptance and delight at her new undead life. However, her naïveté and uncontrollable hunger took her to places never thought possible.
